The table above contains 33 actual account IDs after removing AAA, GOV and Business Edge registration from the code count. Two entries are linked to the organisations that currently publish them; the other 31 are historical listings with no public issuer source and have not been tested in a booking engine.
Most IHG Corporate IDs are numeric, but their length and format vary. A number appearing in a historical list does not prove that the company still uses it, that every IHG hotel loads it, or that a traveller is eligible.

Eligibility comes from the agreement, not from finding a price. A hotel may request the documentation named in the rate terms. If you cannot confirm that the organisation covers you and the purpose of your trip, ask its travel administrator before booking.
Corporate ID, Government Rate and Business Edge Are Different
These routes are often combined into one "code list", but they work differently:

IHG Business Edge: Company Registration, Not a Shared Code
IHG describes Business Edge as a programme for small and midsize enterprises. Its official registration form asks for a business name, website, number of employees, annual hotel spend and a programme administrator. Employees then book with the company's approved Corporate ID.
This makes Business Edge a legitimate route for a small company that wants one managed IHG account. It does not make "Register at Business Edge" a code, and registration should not be presented as a discount open to an unaffiliated leisure traveller.

Government Rate: The Publicly Documented Route
IHG's current U.S. government-rate page names federal, state, county and local government employees, military personnel, defense or cost-reimbursable contractors, and state-funded higher-education universities and healthcare facilities as qualifying. It also says:

Do IHG Corporate Rates Earn One Rewards Points?
Often, but not automatically. IHG's current One Rewards terms classify global-sales negotiated rates, including Corporate Gold, and national, regional and local government rates as Qualifying Rates. The rules for locally negotiated rates vary by region; outside the named regions, a locally negotiated rate generally qualifies only when discounted by less than 30%.
The booking channel matters too. Qualifying stays can be booked through IHG channels, directly with the hotel or through an authorised travel agent. Ordinary online travel agencies are listed as non-qualifying.

Why a Valid Corporate ID May Show No Rate
A code can belong to a real agreement and still return nothing for one search. Common reasons include:
